The new Acellus® 1st grade Science course provides an engaging introduction to the fundamental concepts across a variety of scientific fields. The course is designed with the primary goal of sparking students’ curiosity, encouraging them to explore and question the world around them.

Course Overview
In this 1st Grade Science curriculum, students will begin on an exciting journey of discovery as they explore the fascinating world of nature. Through a combination of hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and engaging songs, they will have the opportunity to learn about a wide range of scientific concepts that are both enlightening and fun! Additionally, this course emphasizes the important connection between science and daily life.
By exploring the natural world around them, students will come to understand how living things, the environment, and natural forces are all connected. For instance, students will discover how plants rely on sunlight, water, and soil to grow, or how animals depend on different ecosystems for survival. Moreover, as students dive deeper into these 1st Grade Science lesson plans, they will begin to see how these concepts apply to their own lives, working to develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
Throughout the course, students will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning skills. These skills will not only help them with future elementary school science courses, but also in other areas of their education and everyday activities. By the end of the course, students will have gained a richer understanding of the world around them and the scientific principles that explain how it works. As a result, students will finish the course with a strong foundation in science, along with the confidence and excitement to continue discovering new things in the world around them.

Following a video lesson, students are given practice problems, helping them to apply the concepts learned. This will allow students to exercise their knowledge in preparation for upcoming exams.
