Course Overview
The Acellus Kindergarten Language Arts and Reading course focuses on building a strong foundation in early English literacy. Throughout this course, students are given the chance to develop and refine a variety of essential language skills, setting them up for success as they encounter more advanced language concepts. With a combination of hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and engaging songs, they will begin to understand key components that include phonemic awareness, where students recognize and understand the sounds associated with each letter.
As students practice their listening and speaking skills, they will begin to express their thoughts clearly. Additionally, students will encounter various kindergarten reading level concepts that help improve their reading skills, enhancing their kindergarten reading comprehension at their appropriate reading level. The goal of this course is to ensure that students are well-prepared to advance to higher reading levels and build strong language arts skills as they progress.
